Where Else?written in transit, momentarily pausing in the middle of nowhereWhere Else?
every place is filled with sunlight every hour beneath the sky there is never any travel none need find a reason why
the rooms and faces keep on shifting shimmering through time and space that is just the solar cycle trees will grow in any waste
in the street or on mt. mansfield they are proper, every one though we know them but in transit

I. Dear reader, whoever you are, understand that you alone witness at this moment, You reader read alone and must ever read alone, be the sentences friendly or inimical; (sentences of poems, books, cities,
men and women sentences, the judge judging himself a sentence, speakers full of high sentence more and more sentences merely, and days, events, reports, situations, fortunate or curious ill, each new room entered, each crowd, each person a sentence unstudied; now you see you read more than you imagined in books.) Light Music for Dance and Ruinwritten in the midst of delirium, March 6, 2005Light Music for Dance and Ruin
now that our lives are the remains of broken stone, come, give me your hand and let us rise to dance, for I have been faithless, and you, too wavering; we have tried too hard, and the box is empty. late day fills the room and white walls remain, a million bright sparks from a great extinguishing. the curve of our arms will not be gone. and every clock in every room stands unerringly precise. look at me again; let us face the last fact. Yes, your curls speak volumes, left better unsaid, and blue eyes are cold steel on a day

The Clear ArrivalIt is not dawn that breaks, or night which fragments up, The beaten million stones where sat the stormy sea, As distance, drawling, heightens any far-seen line; The shore in plains, the sea, extend the slate of sky.The Clear Arrival
The clear arrival looms, a million years afar. So the wrack and rocks remain far-cast throughout the days,
And, wrapped in pause, the dawn is gentle as the night. But somewhere in the heart, where memory resides, Says “here shall I arise”, and speaks a wedge of light.
How the devil are you?

Maybe God wants us to meet a few wrong people before meeting the right one, so that when we finally meet the person, we will know how to be grateful.

what ideology/symbology would you relate closest to both in your writing and those closest to your personal attributes? I'm interested because i have been discovering many symbols in my writing and general life that i am trying to collate. i wonder if it is these that subconsciously inspire us?

To start with, I can't say I think of myself as writing in a particular ideology, as far as -isms are concerned. One of my ideas is that everyone comes to existing sets of ideas, systems of belief, artistic vocabularies, etc. as an outsider. There are a lot of different countries in the world, after all. (I should probably post my favorite authors, though. Soon.)
As for symbologies, it's the same story, though several symbols certainly do recur in my poems. They are really more like building blocks, or themes. I wouldn't say that my deviantArt gallery represents them all, but I have a lot of poems that I haven't posted here.
Here's the list:
city
forest/jungle
biological life as a generalization, a character in the story
blackness/dark/shapeless black space
nothing/silence/lack of things
music/a song sung by a single person
dreams/the unreal colors in dreams/phantasmagoria/fantasy
abstractions (Time, Fate, Accident, Nature)
divisions of time (hour, day, minute) as something immediate, tangible
color/different colors
daylight/sparkling light/different light qualities
the sky
dawn/noon/sunset/midnight
sun/moon/stars/planets/cosmic space
mysterious depth (colored sky, ocean, infinite space, heap, water, organic fullness)
roadsides/vistas/perspective on a landscape/terrain/situation
horizon
hillside/mound/terrain as something inherently mysterious
monument/architecture/gravestone/idol
dirt/rocks/dead matter/rubble/silent stone
Identity/face/eyes
consciousness
blood and breath as alive/the living physical body as matter, an object/Form
the Mind/diagrams/machinery/the intellect
memory/distance in time/decrepitude/disappearance
scene/picture/image
memory/recognition/acquaintance
gaze/immediacy/confrontation/encounter

Forever/Eternity/All

the concrete details of everyday reality (e.g. a shirt button, park bench, shoe)
It was brilliant fun to skim my notebooks and write up that list. Almost every one of the items listed makes me excited somehow. That might be an implied answer to your question at the end.
And as for ideologies that resemble my personal attributes and symbols in my general life, well, another day.
